How to Boycott

By signing the pledge, you’ve agreed to not buy Israeli goods. In doing this, you’re adding your voice to the millions, who are calling for the end of the genocide of the Palestinian people.

The most common products in the UK from Israel are avocados and citrus fruits . To identify them you need to check the country of origin of the produce you are buying. This can be found on the packaging, the sticker, the label or the display box. If you’re not sure, ask a member of staff. If the country of origin or production is Israel, do not buy it – it’s as simple as that! If you see one of our posters in the shop, they are boycotting Israeli products too, so you should tell them!

The Apartheid-Free Zone Pledge

We will not buy produce from Israel in solidarity with the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions movement.

We affirm our commitment to the growing international movement for Palestinian liberation and for justice, equality, and freedom for all.

We commit to respecting the principles of the Palestinian-led BDS movement inspired by the South African Anti-Apartheid movement, including the St Pal’s Apartheid Free Zone.

We are working towards declaring Bristol an Apartheid Free Zone.

Open Letter To Shop Keepers

Dear [Local Shop Keeper],

We, the undersigned, will support you if you choose not to sell produce from Israel in solidarity with the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement.

We will support any shop that commits to joining the growing international movement for Palestinian liberation and justice, equality, and freedom for all.

We will support any shop in committing to respect the principles of the Palestinian-led BDS movement, inspired by the South African anti-apartheid movement, including the St Paul’s Apartheid-Free Zone.

We will work with you towards declaring Bristol an Apartheid-Free Zone.
